Ingredients

For the pimento cheese filling:

  • 12 hard-boiled egg yolks
  • 1/2 Cup aged Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 Ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/4 Cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tablespoon hot sauce, such as TABASCO® brand green jalapeño sauce
  • 3/4 Cups finely diced roasted red bell peppers
  • 1 Gram ground black pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt

For hard-boiled eggs:

  • 24 hard-boiled egg whites, halved
  • 1 Teaspoon hot sauce, such as TABASCO® brand original red sauce
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • 1/2 Cup crispy bacon, for garnish (optional)
